Those eyes of green by Rebecca Holly Short

When I see your eyes,
And your eyes see mine,
My whole world melts,
A blur without line

Those eyes of green,
That burst my heart,
Your gaze of heaven,
Didn’t part

Your soul of beauty,
Clouds my senses,
So pure, so true,
So guard, no fences

Your voice in whisper,
Of warmth and magic,
How far I’ve fallen,
Some call it tragic

I need no more,
Or beg of dreams,
Food or water,
Nor air it seems

Because you know me,
And I know you,
Your dreamy eyes,
And the things you do
