Get into Writing: Submit to magazines

When you’ve got some work you’re happy with, you’ll probably be keen to start getting it out there: building up a publication history is essential if you’re considering making writing a career (and it’s also very exciting too, if you’re just doing it for fun!).

There are loads of brilliant publications (including our very own Cuckoo Review and Cuckoo Chronicle) which provide a platform for emerging writers, and we’ve helpfully compiled a handy list of some of our other favourites below. And before you send your work in make sure you READ THE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES and follow them to the letter-  it’ll make it MUCH more likely your writing will be looked on kindly!
